Roof with shingles torn away by wind awaiting an emergency tarp

24/7 emergency roof leaks and tarping. Call us now.

Our storm and leak line is answered 24 hours a day, every day. Call (303) 555-0147 and we will tell you how to limit the damage while a crew is on the way to tarp the roof.

What counts as a roofing emergency?

  • Active leak

Water dripping or pouring through a ceiling, light fixture or wall during rain or snowmelt.

  • Storm damage

Shingles or underlayment torn off by wind, or hail that has broken through to the deck.

  • Tree or limb on the roof

A fallen tree or large branch resting on or through the roof.

  • Sagging ceiling

A ceiling bulging or sagging with trapped water.

  • Ice dam leaking inside

Meltwater from an ice dam running down an inside wall in winter.

What should I do right now?

  • 01

    Active leak

Move furniture and electronics away, put buckets and towels down, and photograph the damage for your insurer. Stay off the roof; we will tarp it.

  • 02

    Storm damage

Stay inside until the storm passes. Photograph damage from the ground with the date showing, and keep any shingles found in the yard.

  • 03

Tree or limb on the roof

Leave the rooms under the tree and keep everyone clear. If power lines are involved, stay well away and call Xcel Energy and 911.

  • 04

    Sagging ceiling

Keep everyone out of the room and turn off power to that area at the breaker. A small hole at the lowest point, with a bucket under it, can release the water safely.

  • 05

    Ice dam leaking inside

Catch the water and keep it away from outlets. Do not chip at the ice on the roof, which damages shingles; we can steam it off safely.

When to call 911

Call 911 if anyone is injured, if there is fire or the smell of gas, if power lines are down on or near the house, or if part of the roof or ceiling has collapsed.
