What to expect on a roof inspection
How a Northridge Roofing inspection works, what to have ready and how estimates and payment work.
What happens on the day?
- 01
A text on the way
You get a text with the inspector’s name when they are heading to you.
- 02
Talk it through
Show us the stains or damage and tell us what you have noticed.
- 03
Roof and attic check
We inspect the roof surface, flashing, gutters and vents, then the attic.
- 04
Photos and estimate
We walk you through the photos and send a written estimate, usually the same day.
What should I have ready?
- A clear path to the attic hatch, with the area underneath clear
- Access to the side and back yard, with gates unlocked
- The roof’s age and any past repair paperwork, if you have it
- The date of any recent hail or wind storm and your claim number if you filed one
- Pets kept inside or away from the ladder

Worried about the cost?
Many homeowners are. You get a fixed, written estimate before any work starts, and if a repair is better value than a new roof we tell you. Storm inspections are free and there is no obligation.
Common questions
Most Northridge Roofing inspections take 45 to 90 minutes. Replacements are scheduled separately once you approve the estimate.
